How can I buy a holiday home at one of your locations?

There are three ways that potential owners can purchase a holiday home at one of our sites.

1) Cash purchase

2) A private funding source, e.g re-mortgage, equity release

3) A tailor-made holiday home finance package which requires 20% deposit, maximum term 15 years

Can we sublet our property?

Woodland Falls and Silver Bay are private owner-only holiday parks and, as such, commercial subletting is not permitted. However, sharing with family and friends is part of the pleasure of ownership and is allowed by arrangement.

Is it possible to live in our lodge our caravan?

No, lodge owners are not allowed to live in a property at any of our Holiday Parks. The license is granted for recreation (holiday) use only.

Are pets allowed at any of your locations?

Owners are allowed pets on site at Woodland Falls and Silver Bay, however, responsible ownership rules do apply.

How long can we keep our holiday home?

The answer to this question depends entirely on what type of property your purchase.

When purchasing a new lodge your license will last for 50 years. If you purchase a caravan, your license will cover 15 years of ownership.

What happens if we want to sell our property before the license expires?

If you would like to sell your holiday home before your lease is up, we will help you to sell and, acting as an agent, is entitled to a commission fee.

When and how are site fees paid?

Site fees need to be paid annually by the 31st of March. A monthly payment can also be arranged via direct debit.
