Disability Access Statement

Bulmer Leisure aims to attract and welcome all people in society, irrespective of age, physical, intellectual or sensory ability.

Through Bulmer Leisure’s diverse range of holiday homes and with a spa & leisure complex, restaurant and beach it aims to offer a variety of facilities for all and is continuously working towards raising standards in our facilities and customer care.

Bulmer Leisure are constantly reviewing how to improve all forms of access to its holiday homes and facilities and is striving to demonstrate best practice in the management of its facilities, the services it provides, and towards the people it employs.

Through access audits carried out by a designated Health & Safety coordinator, Bulmer Leisure is identifying areas where improvements are required and is recommending reasonable solutions. These recommendations form the basis of future work strategies.

As a 5-star holiday village, we comply with all relevant legislation and ensure that less able bodied people are not treated any less favourably. ‘Reasonable adjustments’ are made where appropriate and possible through sensitive, creative solutions and continuous staff training in disability awareness.

Bulmer Leisure recognises that relevant legislation does not override existing legislation concerning the protection of listed buildings, conservation areas or the Health & Safety Acts.

Where access to certain holiday homes, facilities and the countryside is not possible for various reasons, improved interpretation facilities and alternative services will, wherever possible, assist in overcoming these restrictions.
