I hope this update finds you and your family well and as we approach the reopening at Silver Bay, we would like to outline some operational protocol and phasing for reopening.

Although travel restrictions are to be lifted on the 6th of July allowing people to travel to Wales who live outside the area, Silver Bay will remain closed until 11th July.

As you will be aware things will look a little different when you return.

There will be a requirement to have a track and trace protocol in place, the details of which will be advise at a later date.  Similarly, some of the facilities will be restricted or closed as we phase the reopening using government and operational guidelines.

The Deck House will be serving a varied and comprehensive take away food and beverage service (via the following link.

The Spa facilities and gym will not re-open on 11th July, however, you will be able to book the tennis court (via the following link www.bookwhen/bayactivities).

Please also note that parcel or courier deliveries will not be accepted at this time.

We are happy to be able to announce that the First Minister has advised that the leisure industry will be able to reopen its caravan and lodge parks on the 13th July 2020 allowing people outside of Wales to travel to their self-contained accommodation. You will, therefore, be able to visit your holiday home from this date, whilst adhering to government guidelines.

Under Welsh law, all holiday parks in Wales are currently closed and whilst we are planning to open on July 13th, this may change, subject to any policy changes by the Welsh Assembly.
We would like to share with you our plans for the reopening to ensure safe social distancing, and most importantly to help you enjoy the time spent whilst visiting Silver Bay.

What will be different when we reopen?

Please see below an update on the services that we are able to offer in the short term.

Owner Services.

Please ensure limited and, where possible, telephone or electronic communication with our owner services department who will be available during office hours. Only emergency maintenance will be allowed to take place including gas, electric or water repairs. The email address for owner services is as follows:

The Deck House.

The Deck House will be open from the 13th July, providing a safe takeaway food service only. All take away food must be pre-ordered, we’ll provide a link to the ordering service in due course. There will also be limited bottled beverages available at your collection point. As soon as we are given permission to open the restaurant, we have all the processes in place to help provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all the family including food ordering and payment service via a dedicated app, screened areas, and safe distance signage.

As the advice is changing on a daily basis, we’ll aim to keep you updated on the future services that we are able to provide such as The Spa Gymnasium and Busy Bayers.
