There are three ways that potential owners can purchase a holiday home at Silver Bay Holiday Village.
1) Cash purchase
2) A private funding source, e.g re-mortgage, equity release
3) A tailor-made holiday home finance package which requires 20% deposit, maximum term 15 years
Silver Bay is a private owner-only holiday park and, as such, commercial subletting is not permitted. However, sharing with family and friends is part of the pleasure of ownership and is allowed by arrangement.
No, lodger owners are not allowed to live on a Silver Bay property. The license is granted for recreation (holiday) use only.
Owners are allowed pets on site at Silver Bay, however, responsible ownership rules do apply.
The answer to this question depends entirely on what type of property your purchase here at Silver Bay.
When purchasing a new lodge your license will last for 50 years. If you purchase a caravan, your license will cover 15 years of ownership.
If you would like to sell your holiday home before your lease is up, Silver Bay will help you to sell and, acting as an agent, is entitled to a commission fee.
Site fees need to be paid annually by the 31st of March. A monthly payment can also be arranged via direct debit.
