With Christmas just weeks away, it’s time to get into the Christmas spirit! Christmas on Anglesey is such a magical time and there’s all sorts of fantastic events taking place on the island. Keep reading to find out more about upcoming Christmas events on Anglesey.
Beaumaris Victorian Christmas
Taking place on the 23rd and 24th November, the Beaumaris Victorian Christmas is an excellent opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit. There’ll be a wide range of craft and charity stalls as well as all the shops Beaumaris has to offer. Get your Christmas shopping started – or finished for those who like to be extra prepared. There’ll also be plenty of activities available for all ages, including a visit from Santa and the Elf School. The event has free parking, perfect for getting all your family and friends together.
Christmas Light Switch On in Amlwch
The perfect way to get the Christmas season started, the Christmas lights switch on will be taking place in Amlwch again. This year the switch on will be on Saturday 30th November from 4pm to 8pm.
Enchanted Christmas at Greenwood Family Park
Starting on Saturday 30th November and running on selected dates throughout December, take a two hour twilight adventure full of elves, activities and magical surroundings at Greenwood Family Park.
Tickets are £20 per child and £7 per adult; you’ll receive a magical passport along with your ticket to give you access to your twilight adventure. Join the elves in the gingerbread workshop and have a go at decorating your very own gingerbread man, followed by a walk through the enchanted forest to Santa’s house. Enter Santa’s home for a photo with the man himself and receive a golden ticket for Santa’s toy factory, where you can exchange the ticket for a Christmas toy.
Your ticket also entitles you to a cup of hot chocolate or non-alcoholic mulled wine, elf school activities and access to the soft play area.
Christmas Fayre at Tre-Ysgawen Hall
The Tre-Ysgawen Hall annual Christmas fayre will be held on Saturday 30th November and Sunday 1st December this year. Starting at 10am and running until 5pm each day, you’ll have the opportunity to meet Santa on both days between 12pm and 1:30pm, and 2pm and 4:30pm.
There’ll also be plenty of unique gift ideas for you to take home from the best crafts people in the region.
Côr Ieuenctid Môn Christmas Concert at Canolfan Beaumaris
Taking place on Sunday 1st December at Canolfan Beaumaris, the Anglesey Youth Choir will be bringing you the sounds of Christmas from 3pm to 7pm at their Christmas concert. Tickets can be purchased from Eventbrite.
Christmas Rock Line at Trearddur Bay
The Christmas Rock Line is back and this year it’s taking place along the promenade at Trearddur Bay. The Rock Line will be held on Saturday 14th December from 11am to 2pm; this is an earlier finish than usual to make sure it is still light and not too cold. There will also be a charity donation and this year all proceeds will go to RNLI Trearddur Bay Lifeboat. There’s about a month to go until this event so get painting, and make sure it’s Christmas-themed!
