Come and explore our stunning facilities and our brand new lodges for 2017. Step inside one of our most innovative designs yet in the Look Out, or spend some time enjoying the modern, country chic decor found in the Vista. There’s something suited to all tastes.

And best of all, there’ll be refreshments, prosecco and nibbles, too!

There’ll be tours of the park throughout the day, allowing access to our award-winning private beach, our multi-million pound leisure facilities and the recently refurbished Deck House restaurant, lounge and bar. If you’d like to pre-book your tour, call us on 01407 860 860. Those without bookings are also welcome to visit on the day too.

Don’t miss out on your chance to immerse yourself in the Silver Bay lifestyle and experience the five lodges below – all brand new.

The Wessex Classic

You don’t get the word ‘classic’ in your name without being a truly magnificent holiday home, and the Wessex is a lodge that you’ll enjoy holidaying in time and time again.

Featuring wall-length windows and a stunning, open plan living space, with room for all your loved ones, the Wessex classic is a classic example of what a holiday home should be.

The homely kitchen is equipped with all the high-tech essentials, and the living and dining space parades a tranquil ambiance as the natural light flows through. Relax in the bedroom of an evening, rest assured in the knowledge that your holiday home really is a picture-perfect paradise.

The Vista

Surrounded by envy-inducing decking and home to modern and chic decor, the Vista holiday lodge is a delight. Step through the double french doors and into bliss, soaking up the contemporary styling and uplifting decor.

Skylights are a beautiful feature throughout this property, and they add a certain element of luxury that regular windows simply cannot afford. Spotlights also decorate the lodge ceiling, providing ample light and views of the stars when night falls.

The spacious bedrooms will keep everyone in the family happy, and the two bathrooms, one of which is ensuite, ensures that this property is certainly well above par. The Vista is simply waiting for a loving family to turn this magnificent holiday lodge into a holiday home. Could it be you?

The Reef Edge

silver-bay-holiday-village-luxury-lodges-anglesey-lounge

Few holiday homes impress as much as the Reef Edge does on first sight.

Enjoy dining alfresco on the stunning decking as the sun sets, or head inside to a welcoming holiday lodge where you’ll forever feel at home.

The dark wooden floors and contrasting light walls are what first draws the eye in the property. Each add an element of character and style to the property, and act as the perfect backdrop to the elegant furniture.

Curl up on the plush, cream sofas, or spend some time playing a family board game on the gorgeous wood dining table complete with wicker chairs. Then retire to one of the luxurious bedrooms and unwind in the heart of refined holiday home living. You won’t look back!

The Oyster Catcher

Benefiting from year-round comfort and style, the Oyster Catcher is a beauty.

Brand new to the site for 2017, this lodge comes with a modern, integrated kitchen and is an advocate for open plan living. Light floods through this holiday home, providing a light and airy feel. The beechwood styling in the Oyster Catcher also adds to this comfortable ambiance – and the mustard accents provide a dash of bright colour that really pops.

Cook up a storm in the rustic kitchen, or relax in the standalone bath tub fit for royalty; there’s something about this property that captures the heart.

A favourite with children, who adore the built-in bunk beds, the Oyster Catcher is the ideal place to spend your free time on the gorgeous Isle of Anglesey.

The Look Out

presitge lookout maste bedroom

Our final new lodge for 2017 is the Look Out.

Arranged over a variety of floors, the Look Out is eye catching and unique, offering both excellent fixtures and fittings as well as an inspiring exterior.

This holiday home is all about modern furnishings and magnificent views, and due to the fact it’s on one of the most desirable spots here at Silver Bay, it’s a firm favourite.

It features a chic, 60s colour scheme and combines this with multi-level living. A triumph of architectural design in holiday lodges, it has to be seen to be believed. It will be love at first sight with this lodge, of that we’re sure!

May-Half-Term-Holiday-Activity-Planner-Silver-Bay-Holiday-Village-Anglesey.-Blog.-1-1280x853.jpg

The sun has finally got his hat on, and with the May half-term quickly making its way towards us, we’ve officially launched the Silver Bay Spring Newsletter!

Jam-packed with fun and fantastic activities for all the family, there’s a tangible sense of excitement in the air as we prepare for the return of our lovely homeowners and their loved ones.

So, to make sure your calendar is chock-a-block with recreation and merry-making, take a look below.

Saving The Honey Bees

This year, we’re focusing on helping out a creature that’s been a part of the English lifestyle for as long as we can remember – the honey bee.

What many don’t realise is that this majestic being has a population that is vastly dwindling, so we’ve decided to make Silver Bay a Honey Bee Friendly Park!

Expert beekeeper, Johnathan Garratt, will be visiting over the summer months to hold important educational bee sessions with the children, and they’ll even have the chance to get up close and personal with the fuzzy, buzzy creatures. There will also be lots of bee-themed activities including candle creation with beeswax and a chance to help us build our very own Bee Hotel!

Best of all, we’ll be welcoming 20,000 new residents this summer in the form of our fuzzy friends! The protection and encouragement of the honey bees will be part of our prestigious David Bellamy award this year. Two hives are being installed closely followed by two bee colonies, so make sure you keep an eye out.

Don’t miss it… because It’ll BEE fantastic!

Welcoming Karan, our new pastry chef

We know how much our lodge owners love something sweet, and to help elevate our stunning Deck House menu to the next level, we’ve welcome talented pastry chef, Karan, to the team.

Originally from London, Karan loves baking and making sweets such as honeycomb and marshmallow, and we can’t wait to see what she brings to the table!

We’ve also got a brand new kid’s pudding menu, so keep your eyes peeled for it when you’re next dining with us.

The Chill Out Zone is here!

Silver Bay Chill Out Zone anglesey north wales

It’s very important to us to listen to our owners’ feedback and act on your wishes – which is why we’re proud to announce that we’ve launched a brand new Chill Out Zone for teens!

Complete with a pool table, television, Wii, wifi, games and comfy bean bags, it’s a space attached to the Deck House where they can kick back and relax – and one where you can rest assured that your children are close by and safe.

The Chill Out Zone also welcomes children under 12 up until 9 pm, as long as they’re supervised by someone in the Deck House.

Easter Fund Raising

You’re a generous lot, and we’re pleased to announce that the Easter raffle and quiz raised £205 pounds for Wales Air Ambulance! Thank you to everyone who donated and took part – and we’d like to give a shout out to Resting Beach Face, who were our quiz champions.

We’d also like to take a moment to highlight the fantastic charity work our team members have done too. Heidi, Will, Toni and Sue all completed a 5k race course and raised £273 for the Stroke Association. Congratulations, everyone!

The Spring Activity Schedule

If you’re a regular Silver Bay holiday-maker, you’ll know that we’re always doing our best to host lots of fun recreational activities for both children and adults. This May, there’s lots on including some brand new activities such as leaf mobiles, nail painting and tattoos, and even frisbee golf.

In the pool, we’ll be hosting a range of pastimes from adult swims to water polo and snorkelling, so make sure you pack your swimming gear!

The studio and gym have an action-packed schedule if you fancy working up a sweat. There’ll be the return of supervised activities and gym, as well as spinning, circuit training, pilates, and metafit.

Finally, our Busy Bayers activities are back with a bang! This May your little ones can experience arts and crafts, paper mache modelling, clay modelling, coasteering, woodland activities, salt dough making and much, much more. We’re even celebrating the return of the fabulous Beach Mudder on Sunday the 28th of May at 3 pm!

Luxury Lodge Spotlight – The Vista At Silver Bay Holiday Village

Silver-Bay-Holiday-Village-easter-summer-1280x960.jpeg

With warm beach weather approaching (we even had a mini heatwave over Easter!) and longer days just around the corner, summer is on the way here at Silver Bay Holiday Village.

Our calendar is jam-packed full with events that you and your loved ones won’t want to miss. And as well as making sure Silver Bayers have plenty to do, we’re also going to be digging deep for charity.

For a full run down, take a look below and pop these all important dates into your summer calendar of fun!

18th June – Snowdon Sunrise Charity Walk

sunset summer holidays silver bay holiday village

We always take great pride in doing our bit for local charities, which is why we’ve decided to get the Silver Bay team together and embark on the Snowdon Sunrise Charity Walk 2017.

Taking place on the 18th of June, all funds raised will go towards the all-important Wales Air Ambulances. And best of all, you can join us too! Just make sure you book via Breese Adventures.

The Wales Air Ambulance team will be trekking along with us, and we’ll be walking between 1am and 9am under the guide of the Anglesey moon, led by headtorch lights! It’s a magical walk and an experience that you’ll never forget. We hope to see you there!

If you can’t participate, but would like to donate, simply visit the GoFundMe page here.

3rd and 4th June – Menai Raft Race

As we’re an island, there are always lots of exciting water-based activities going on. From boat voyages to adrenaline-pumping sailing, if you’re a watersports enthusiast, you’ll love Anglesey.

This year, we’ve decided to get involved with local water sports activities ourselves, and for the first time ever will be taking part in the Menai Raft Race! This annual event is an Anglesey classic, and on the 3rd and 4th of June our Grounds Maintenance Team will be heading out on the water and racing locals who have endeavoured to build their best rafts!

If you’re interested in Raft Silver Bay, like our page on Facebook where you’ll find a collection of upcoming images full of all the latest updates. And best of all, this event also raises a lot of money for local causes – which makes the Menai Raft Race one of the most important events in the Anglesey calendar.

Summer 2017 – Date TBC – Guinness World Record Attempt

summer silver bay guinness world record

This summer we’ll be hoping to make Silver Bay a record-breaking holiday park – and we need your help! From gathering as many superheroes as we can on the beach at one time, to building the world’s highest stack of coins on a holiday park, we want to know which event you’d like to do the most – and we need your votes on social media.

We’re also looking for even more special ideas, so if you have something that you’d like to put on the table, perhaps the most amount of people snorkelling in wigs at once, or maybe the largest amount of sandcastles shaped like Disney characters on one beach, let us know right away on Facebook.

Our Guinness World Record Attempt is an event that we can’t wait to launch this summer when we welcome everyone back for six weeks of sun, fun and excitement. We’ll be posting more details soon about the attempt and when it will be taking place. Make sure you check back so that you don’t miss out!

Summer 2017 at Silver Bay Holiday Village

We hope you can make it to our events this summer, and if you don’t feel like taking part feel free to pop down and cheer us on! The team and our lodge owners will really appreciate your support.

To find out more about any of the events call us on 01407 860 860.

It’s a win-win for everyone!

Saturday 1st – Sunday 9th April

Easter is off to a flying start as we begin our first week of activities!

On Sunday, we’ll be launching a relaxing adult swim from 09:30-10:30am, so make sure you pop down to get in a few laps before the little ones hit the pool. We’ll also have a spinning class between 11:00 and 11:30am for 14+ to get your heart racing and your body working super hard!

Monday the 3rd is another busy day. Why not head to the gym with the children between 09:30-10:30am where they can partake in some supervised activities? After that, there are plenty of arts and crafts at 12:30pm, as well as seed sowing and pot decorating at 5pm for those with green fingers.

Head into Tuesday by learning to save a life with our Life-Saving/Personal Survival skills in the pool for 8 years+ with our session running between 11:00 to 1:00pm After that, the children can create arty Easter cards (5pm) or spend a bit of time learning how to cook on a campfire at 2:30pm.

Wednesday the 5th of April will see Spinning classes return (11:00am) as well as a Legs, Bums and Tums session (6pm) for anyone aged 14+. It’s then time for the children to don their creative gloves in the afternoon as they have a go at salt dough modelling (12:30pm) and spend some time working with Paper Mache (2:30pm)!

It’ll soon be Thursday the 6th, and the fun won’t be slowing down. Learn to kayak in the safety of the pool where there will be two sessions for those aged between 7-11 years and 11-16 years from 1pm onwards. Then it’s time the little ones paint their salt dough (12:30pm) or perhaps try their hand at cooking up a storm in the kitchen with our exciting baking class (2:30pm).

Friday the 7th of April and Saturday the 8th are full to the top with activities for all ages. Our adult only swim returns at 9:30am, and the children will be spoilt for choice in the afternoon as they wile away the afternoon creating dream catchers (12:30pm), partaking in woodland activities (2:30pm) and then rounding the excitement off with a movie starting at 5:30pm.

Sunday provides a break for Busy Bayers, but there’s still plenty to do on site. Spend the day by the beach or in the pool. We’ll be hosting our supervised activities (09:30am) and spinning sessions in the gym (11:00am) too!

Monday 10th – Sunday 16th April

easter on anglesey at silver bay holiday village north wales

As Monday the 10th roles around, and Easter gets even closer, it looks as though it’s going to be an exciting week. Why not head to the gym for a cardio circuit session to sweat out all those toxins from the weekend at 11am? Or perhaps your children might want to work up a sweat themselves with one of our exciting dance sessions from 1pm?

Tuesday will be an important day for water lovers as we host our Life Saving session in the pool between 11:00 and 1:00pm. We’ll also be offering the chance for children under 6 to create adorable Easter bonnets (11:00am)  which will certainly be worth a picture or two for the family album!

Wednesday the 12th of April is also a calendar highlight. We’ll be hosting our Open Golf & Target Games for those inclined to enjoy a bit of putting at 1:00pm. We’ll also be painting our paper mache designs (5:00pm) with the little ones and creating Easter baskets (12:30) – perfect for collecting lots of chocolatey eggs on Easter Sunday.

If you love water, you’ll adore Thursday’s activities. Come and join us as we take to the pool and host a scuba diving experience for those aged 8-13yrs + between 1:00 and 2:00pm, and 14yrs + between 2:00 and 3:00pm. Head to Busy Bayers too for the chance to make bird feeders (12:30pm) to attract as much beautiful wildlife as possible to our holiday village.

On Good Friday, it’s the perfect chance to practicing kayaking in the pool with our morning sessions from 1pm. If the creative mood has caught your children, be sure to send them to Busy Bayers where we will also be working on our arts and crafts skills at 12:30pm. Or why not kick back and relax all day before sending the little ones to our movie night in the evening (5:00pm)? They’ll adore the chance to watch an entertaining movie with their friends!

It’s Saturday next, and Easter will only be one day away. Don’t worry though; there’s still plenty happening on site! Big news for chocolate lovers as our Easter egg hunt will be taking place between 2:30 and 4:30pm. Bring your Easter baskets to collect some yummy treats! Then to round off a fun-filled, rousing day, why not head to The Deck House for The Big Quiz? Put your knowledge to the test with your family and friends whilst enjoying a tasty little tipple.

On Easter Sunday itself, there’s a chance for the adults to work off the chocolate eggs with an adult only swim between 09:30 and 10:30am. There’ll also be a spinning class where you can earn that gluttonous roast dinner! The Deck House will also be hosting a delightful Easter Sunday roast if you fancy popping in and filling your boots. Call us on 01407 860 860 to reserve your spot and avoid disappointment.

Monday 17th – Friday 21st April

easter bunny anglesey north wales silver bay holiday village

Easter Monday is the perfect chance to catch up with any activities you’ve missed earlier in the week. Our cardio circuit (11:00am) and supervised gym sessions (3:00pm)  are back, and so are our dance (1:00pm) and bird feeder making activities (5:00pm) for the children.

Don’t head home on Tuesday the 18th, instead spend some time taking part in our metafit studio gym session (11:00am). Or if sweating over cardio isn’t your thing, then why not clear your mind and stretch those muscles with a pilates session at 6pm?

On Wednesday we’re heading back down under the water for an exciting scuba lesson (1:00pm), follow this with legs, bums and tums (6pm) in the studio. For the children, we’ll be taking the woods for some woodland activities (2:30pm), followed closely by more arts and crafts than you can shake a stick at starting at 5pm!

Thursday is the 20th of April, and sadly the Easter holidays will be winding down. However, don’t fear, we’re still here to keep you topped up with fun! We’ll be hosting Orienteering for the children between 1:00 and 2:00pm in the gym studio, and then it’s time to try your hand at salt dough modelling (12:30pm) or create something scrumptious during our baking activity between 2:30 and 4:30pm. Round it all off with seed bomb making (5:00pm) as we make it our aim to fill our site with awe-inspiring plants.

Friday the 21st of April is our final day of activities. Our adult only swim is on again between 09:30 and 10:30am, followed by kayaking between 1:00 and 2:00pm for those aged 7-11yrs. There’s also an extra session for those aged 11-16yrs between 2:00 and 3:00pm – so make sure you choose the right session for your age range!

Easter 2017

That’s it for Easter at Silver Bay for 2017. We’ll soon be looking forwards to the May half term when we’ll get the chance to relive the fun all over again. In the meantime, we wish you a happy Easter and hope the Easter Bunny pays you a visit!

Silver-Bay-Holiday-Village-Fundraising-RNLI-.jpg

It always feels great to give, and the Silver Bay community are some of the most generous people we’ve ever had the pleasure to know. So it really does come as as no surprise that we managed to raise such an astounding amount of money this Summer – £2,000 to be precise – for the Royal National Lifeboat Institute!

Known as the RNLI for short, the charity is one that’s incredibly close to our heart. With our very own private beach, we like to make sure that we support the charity that makes water activities around the UK, and our lodge owners, safe.

RNLI and Silver Bay funraising

Over the summer we organised a range of fundraising activities to raise this fantastic amount. These included our Busy Bayer’s bake sale, an exciting tennis tournament featuring a tuck shop ran by our Busy Bayers, and also a fantastic sand castle competition. Our Spa and Leisure complex also hosted an array of activities that allowed us to achieve such an amazing amount.

Chris Buckley, Operations Manager at Silver Bay explained that, “living and holidaying on Anglesey gives our community at Silver Bay a heightened awareness of the hard work and support of the brave RNLI volunteers. We endeavor to find fundraising opportunities to support the RNLI crews to have the best equipment possible, and this summer was the most fruitful yet!”

General Manager, Jamie Hughes, is also incredibly proud of all the people who donated. “It’s really great to see all ages join in and celebrate such a great cause – many of the owners have boats and enjoy their time at sea safe in the knowledge that the RNLI are active in the area. It’s great to give back, and I can’t wait to continue supporting the RNLI with our future fundraising activities.”

Fundraising on Silver Bay beach

We’d like to thank everyone who donated to the cause and if you missed out, don’t worry. We’ll be hosting even more fundraising opportunities as we head through the last part of 2016.

To find out more about our charity  work at Silver Bay, click here. We’ve also been working hard to make our holiday village as green as possible. Take a look at here to find out more and discover five things that you didn’t know about Silver Bay holiday homes.

You may be aware that we’ve been working on our new restaurant, bar, and lounge offering for some time now. Well, we’re finally proud to announce that The Deck House is now finally open!

We’re extremely excited to welcome our lovely residents inside as the final part of a 2-year, multi-million-pound upgrade is completed.

silver-bay-holiday-village-anglesey-the-deck house-bar

We chose The Deck House for the name to reflect the stunning views from the terrace and beyond. However, you’ll still find the rustic charm of the farmhouse inside which we’ve made over too!

Our General Manager, Jamie Hughes, stated: “The new Deck House encapsulates everything that Silver Bay is about. It’s a place where everyone can come together, relax and have a great time whilst taking in the wonderful views we have here at Silver Bay. The Deck House is going to be a place where many happy Silver Bay memories are made for many years to come.”

As well as the new look, we’ve also brought in some fantastic chefs who have crafted a stunning, contemporary menu making the most of local ingredients. We pride ourselves on supporting local business and are working with artisan bakers and local Anglesey ice cream providers. We believe the quality shines truely shines through.

The cider-making Bulmer family are the owners of the land at Silver bay, and Nick Bulmer is incredibly excited about the new development. He said: “We are very proud of the way that Silver Bay continues to go from strength-to-strength. The Deck House makes Silver Bay the premier choice for a holiday home in north Wales whilst retaining the family ethos and values that are so important to us.

“This recent investment also underlines our continued commitment to tourism in Anglesey and north Wales as a whole.”

Here at Silver Bay, we’re celebrating the unveiling of our brand new, multi-million pound leisure complex and the release of our most exclusive luxury lodge development to date.

The Spa, our spectacular onsite leisure complex, has now opened at a cost of £1.6m and provides the complete spa experience; in addition to the private tennis courts, beach and boat park that are already staples of Silver Bay.

The facilities include a children’s splash pool, plus a separate 18 metre pool with dedicated lanes for the more serious swimmer or those who are looking for a more relaxing bathing experience. State of the art fitness and leisure equipment including bikes, running machines and free weights are available to use at your lesiure. You can work out with the latest Pulse cardio and resistance equipment and even race against your friends over different virtual terrains on new interactive X Dream bikes. There are free classes in yoga, circuit training, spinning and dance and instructors are on hand to devise personal fitness programmes. The spa offers over 100 treatments and there is a steam room, jacuzzi and sauna. All of these facilities are openly available to our residents.

Silver Bay is a haven of relaxation, situated less than two hours drive away from all of the major cities in the north west of England. It is a truly luxurious getaway.

Headland Rise is our latest luxury lodge development, so called because of the prominent position overlooking Silver Bay, affording un-spoilt panoramic sea views and the Snowdonia mountains beyond.
