On June 20th 2015, the Anglesey Showground will play host to the annual Children and Family Festival – with a number of fantastic activities for young people and their families.
From face painting, to tasty treats, and lots of opportunities for family activities, this is one of the most popular events in the Anglesey calendar. So we recommend you get there nice and early – preferably before it opens at 11am (until 3pm).
Thanks to the huge success of last year’s event, Anglesey will once again see hundreds of tourists and locals alike flock to our pear for a range of fantastic activities.
Activities and things to do
This June, families can expect to get stuck in with a range of opportunities for fun – such as:

Face painting
But if you’d prefer to kick back and relax in the sun too, then you’re just in luck. A number of Anglesey’s local food suppliers will be present at the family festival, showcasing the best in our tasty produce. And if last year is anything to go by, visitors will have a chance to catch up on their retail shopping too. We expect there to be plenty of stalls set up throughout the showground.
But more importantly, the family festival will have several different tents set up across the event – offering great educational and entertainment options for young people, including:

This really is a multi-faceted festival, and we expect there’ll be something for every type of visitor this 2015.
Anglesey’s Children and Family Festival 2015
At Silver Bay, one of our favourite seasonal events is the Children and Family Festival. Packed full of fun, creative, and exciting activities for visitors of all ages, we aren’t expected that this is one of the most popular events in the calendar.
And based on last year’s event – with a stunning show from the RAF over the showground – we are expecting big things in 2015 too.
