Enjoy Our Beach & Boat Park

Swimmers, sailors, rock-poolers, sandcastle builders – all sorts of people love our award-winning beach at Silver Bay Holiday Village. We’re proud to say that our secluded beach is one of the cleanest and safest beaches in Britain. And we’re not just saying that – we’ve got the Green Flag to prove it!

Our dedication to preserving the natural environment and supporting British wildlife to flourish is a key priority for us here at Silver Bay, and we’ve been recognised by Sir David Bellamy himself as a Gold Standard holiday park in the UK.

We also have a spacious boat park so that should you like to dock on site, we have the facilities. Be sure to keep an eye out for our annual Sand Castle building competition too. The children love it!

Green Coast Award-Winning Beach

It’s with fantastic upkeep and maintenance that we are able to host an array of events and activities on our sandy shores here at Silver Bay. You’ll find that activities are hosted regularly over the summer months, and these include our annual Sandcastle Competition, our Beach Mudder contest, and also our Small Boat Fishing Competition.

We’re proud to say that Silver Bay is one of just a few carefully selected UK beaches to win the Green Coast Award. We’ve met the stringent criteria that recognises Silver Bay for being clean, safe and environmentally conscious. Our inviting horseshoe of white sand set between low rocky headlands, backed by dunes and pine woods is a safe haven for both relaxing and exploring. We recommend taking the children to the rockpools at low tide – you’ll be sure to find some interesting critters!

Woodlands & Coastal Walks

The white crashing breakers against the rocky coast and beaches is a sight to be relished when exploring the grounds around Silver Bay. The shelter of the pine woods behind Silver Bay makes a great contrast against the coast, and you may even see a residing Sparrow Hawk or two as you set out on your adventure.

Owners have also admired dragonflies, damselflies, butterflies, and frogs on their exploration. Close to autumn, mountain ash berries make a splash of bright orange and the red hawthorn berries are a sight to behold. The woods lead across fields towards Trearrdur Bay, and there are a wonderful variety of habitats on this walk. You can also find a range of Ordnance Survey Maps so that you can take your exploration across the headlands further too.

Sailing & Private Boat Park

Alongside our beach, we also have a private boat park available.

Crafts of up to 6.5m in length can be accommodated, and as our boat park is situated within the holiday village it simply could not be more convenient for our lovely residents.

There are also a number of different boat launching options, from joining a tractor syndicate to utilising our boat launching service – making it the perfect home for your boat in the UK. If you love your boat, the Silver Bay boat park is just one reason why you should take a look at what we have on offer at our luxury holiday village.

Award-Winning Environment

The Silver Bay experience is built around enjoying the unique natural environment and its vital for us to conserve it as much as possible for future generations. We recently won GOLD in the David Bellamy Awards for our preservation to our mini-nature reserve where we take safeguarding wildlife, flora, and fauna very seriously. We also have our full-time countryside and coastal team to thank who are beyond dedicated to ensuring the grounds and beach at Silver Bay are clean, safe, and sustainable.

We want our lodge owners at Silver Bay to have the best possible experience whilst exploring their ‘back yard’ and we invite you to get involved! From our Wild Survivor’s children’s activity to initiatives to plant trees, there’s something for all levels of naturalists.
